Hello again, walkers!
Hopefully everyone had a fun and safe holiday. Did you get any interesting pictures? I snapped a few in Lake Jackson while watching the fireworks: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ext237
And now, more questions:
What if it rains?
If you can stand the rain, how great would it be to get photos of lighting over Downtown Houston? Otherwise, we may be limited to the balcony at UH-D ... and inside the rail cars.

The Downtown @ Night Houston Photowalk is only 14 days away!
Hello again everyone, and Happy 4th of July! As you get the family ready to go see Fireworks, be sure and grab that camera!
Tonight is a great opportunity to practice evening photography. Point and shoot users can experiment to see what camera settings works best in low-light conditions.
For those ready to get amazing photographs of fireworks, check out this great blog post: http://bit.ly/199M9a

The Downtown @ Night Houston Photowalk is only 16 days away!
The number of people interested in the photowalk took me by surprise. We filled the 50 slots in 5 days, and continue to get emails from people who want to be placed on the waiting list!
Soon, we'll be letting everyone know about more photowalk events in Houston! Meanwhile, if turns out you can't make it on the 18th, please let me know. We'll give your spot to someone else.

Planning a party or event and looking for a way to turn your meetup into a unique experience?
We roll in with lighting and camera equipment and turn your get together into a photo shoot. Your guests have a great time and get some outstanding (and unusual) pictures of themselves at your party.
